A short presentation and longer discussion around researching our online pedagogy as well as thinking about ways to enrich the culture of learning in the online classroom.
(Day 1) An opportunity for BMCC faculty to showcase their existing Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) work and for faculty new to SoTL to develop their own classroom-based research project.
In this day-long workshop, we'll explore ways of integrating research, scholarship, and creative work into the undergraduate curriculum, drawing on examples from the humanities, social sciences, and sciences.
Faculty will share their experiences creating and implementing Open/Alternative Educational Resources (OER) for their online and hybrid courses.
