Presenter: Laurie Lomask (Modern Languages)
Professor Lomask will discuss the pragmatics of speaking about dance in Portuguese, Spanish and English, and its implications for the language classroom. She will also provide examples of narrative dance, in Puerto Rican bomba and Brazilian samba.
