Technology-mediated instruction has been incorporated into Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) despite skepticism about the adaptability of technology-mediated communication as a viable alternative to face-to-face interaction, believed by proponents of communicative language teaching as a central component of language acquisition.
In this presentation, Professor Naseer Alomari (Speech, Communications, and Theatre Arts) will address the theoretical and practical paradigm shifts required for effective incorporation of technology into TBLT.
This event is organized by the Language, Society, and Culture FIG. Please contact Deniz Gokcora (Academic Literacy and Linguistics) or Kristina Varade (Modern Languages) to RSVP or for more information.
